TerraSys™ allows for the in-depth examination of the results, which goes beyond the the usual data examination procedures. It combines the two complementary approaches to risk estimation: conventional mathematical modelling and the performance of biotests on samples from the study site. To do this, TerraSys™ considers the confidence levels associated with the modelling results as well as with the biotest results (when available) so as to propose the most appropriate conclusions with respect to the real risks on the site.

The integration of results from these two approaches allows TerraSys™ to take into account the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. The resulting conclusion is thus more defensible and the overall level of confidence is increased.
