TerraSys™ can use the results of biotests performed on samples from the study site in order to estimate risks for the various receptors. To do this, TerraSys™ includes a number of functions relating to biotests:

• Entry of biotest results and management of results files
• Search for correlations between the results of the biotests and the measured concentrations
• Search for correlations between the biotest results and the risk indices calculated by mathematical modelling
• Calculation of ECx values
• Calculation of risk indices from the biotest results.

 
TerraSys™ also contains a database with descriptions of more than fifty biotests currently used in the evaluation of contaminated sites.
