| Using TerraSys™ |
Essentially, a work session with TerraSys is composed of four major phases:
| 1 | Data entry; | |
| 2 | Definition of a conceptual model of the ecosystem; | |
| 3 | Mathematical modelling; | |
| 4 | Interpretation of results. |
| Interpretation of results |
|---|
The interpretation of the results constitutes the final phase in a risk assessment. This phase cannot be entirely performed in an automated manner, since it calls primarily upon the professional expertise of the analyst. Nevertheless, TerraSys™ proposes a number of functions for assistance in interpretation (tables, graphs, text reports, etc.). These functions, although limited, can be very helpful for the assessment of complex ecological systems.
