Hydrogeological studies are essential to a clear understanding of the mechanisms that influence the movement of contaminants underground. When combined with modelling, a hydrogeological study becomes an effective tool for defining affected areas and developing remediation strategies adapted to the specific context of the site.

The hydrogeologists at Sanexen are involved in numerous projects concerning groundwater and soil clean-up, from interpretation of the potential for off-site migration to the development and application of remediation techniques by in situ treatment.
