Expert certifications (Section IV.2.1 of the EQA)

Sanexen has on its team five experts certified by the ministère du Développement durable, de l'Environnement et des Parcs du Québec (MDDEP) according to Section IV.2.1 of the Environment Quality Act or EQA). These experts verify and approve legal documents, characterisation reports, remediation reports and study summaries as required by the EQA for sites identified in the regulations.

Sanexen's experts have intervened in and successfully completed numerous characterisation and remediation projects covered by the EQA, working in collaboration with the professionals involved in registering notices of contamination, remediation and restricted use on property titles.

In this respect, we have drawn up, carried out and validated numerous remediation plans, based almost as often on risk assessment as on the generic limit values set by MDDEP. In certain cases, site-specific remediation criteria have been developed and custom-designed risk management measures have been established by our team and accepted by MDDEP.
