AQUA-PIPE® is an economical and viable trenchless alternative to traditional open cut.

Liner
AQUA-PIPE® is composed of two concentric, tubular, plain woven polyester jackets with a polymeric membrane bonded to the interior.

Resin
The hose is impregnated with a proprietary curable mix of resin and hardener (specific epoxy) that allows the hose to adhere to the host pipe. Once the epoxy is cured, formation of AQUA-PIPE® is complete.

Dimensions
AQUA-PIPE® is designed to structurally rehabilitate 6, 8, 10 and 12 inch (150, 200, 250 and 300 mm) water mains. The distance between access pits determines the length of the segment.

Structural Quality
The mechanical properties of AQUA-PIPE® exceed ASTM F1216 and ASTM F1743 recommendations.

Water Tightness
The polymeric inner membrane is designed and tested to ensure water tightness.

Certification
AQUA-PIPE® is certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI 61 OL190 and NSF/ANSI 61 OL192. It is also certified to BNQ Standard 3660-950.

Ease of Installation
AQUA-PIPE® is precisely aligned with the host pipe's point of entry and pulled through to the exit point.

Forming and Curing (CIPP)
The shaping of AQUA-PIPE® is achieved by pushing a pig through the hose using water pressure. Circulating hot water ensures the curing process

Service Connections
The service connections are reinstated from within using a remote controlled mechanical robot. A closed circuit television system is used for monitoring the operation. Water tightness is preserved by the resin that surrounds the threaded cavities of the service connections and ensures a tight bond with AQUA-PIPE®.

Customer Satisfaction
AQUA-PIPE® has proven itself in over 400,000 feet (125,000 meters) of rehabilitated water mains through many successful projects. Traditional inconveniences are minimized - temporary water bypass is installed and access to roads and driveways is maintained
